Know Jesus

God desires a relationship with you.  But, no person can come to Him, except by Jesus. One of the meanings of the name “Jesus” is Savior.  He is here to help enlighten your path so you can see how you should live.  Regardless of the worries, anxieties, and concerns you face, God’s desire is to help you.  That is why He sent Jesus to help you.  The Scriptures declare, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you,” (John 15:7). Jesus declares the importance of a relationship with Him and a relationship with His word.

Drawing Close to God
Many people are searching for satisfaction in life, and some will go to great extremes to achieve it.  Earthly things are only temporary but eternity is forever. Obtaining things on earth is only for a season, but losing your soul is forever. Earthly satisfaction is just for a moment.  The Bible says in Matthew 16:26 (NLT), “And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?”

He does not just want to live in you; He wants you to talk to Him and to have a relationship with Him. He desires for you to draw close to Him so that you can be satisfied with His goodness,  peace, and blessings.  When you give your life to Jesus is simple:

Acknowledge that you’re a sinner
Confess your sins to God.
Repent of your sins.
Ask God to forgive your sins.
Believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

Like any other successful relationship, you have to make time for Jesus.  The more time you spend with Him, the more you get to know His will for your life.  How do you build a relationship with God, you talk to Him and reading His word, the Bible.

Don’t wait to begin this lasting relationship with Him. Know Jesus today.
